Hurricane Matthew Renovations begin for Post 230

On February 25, 2017 we will begin some of our renovations of American Legion Post 230. Team Rubicon and Operation Supply Drop will be coming out to the post and helping us remove walls, floors and paneling that was damaged in October of 2016 by Hurricane Matthew. The storm produced over $200,000 worth of damage to the post and we would not be able to renovate it without the help of our local community, our membership and these other great organizations

We are still looking for volunteers to come and help with the renovation. If you are interested in supporting the post and our active-duty, Veteran and families see the details below:

Where: 1654 Veterans Dr.Spring Lake, NC 28390

Time: Begins 9:00am EST. Stay as long as you can!

What to bring: Gloves, Glasses and Tools (tools not required)

We know not everyone can show up to help and if you prefer to simply donate to help us as we continue to raise money to help us fix the post, you can do so by DONATING HERE.
