Awards Presented by American Legion Post 230

On February 12th, American Legion Post 230 and 8th District Commander, Mark Erskine, were busy handing out awards and certificates to some important people who support our mission. The first awards to be presented by Spring Lake American Legion Post 230 was to Legionnaire Aaron Stout. He was presented with the Grateful Appreciation Medal and Blood Donor Certificate.

The next presentation was a Certificate of Appreciation to Boy Scout Troop 82 for assisting American Legion Post 230 during the annual Flag Retirement Ceremony. Receiving the certificate is Scoutmaster Mike Stefanchek.

To finalize the day, a Certificate of Appreciation was presented to the Town of Spring Lake for collecting pull tabs for the Ronald McDonald House. Receiving the certificate is Rhonda Webb the Town Secretary.

We can't make the impact that we do without the amazing support we get from Fort Bragg, Pope Air Force Base, Spring Lake and neighboring counties.
